Green Lanterns #53 Cover - Saul Bass Homage!

Perkins pulls off a stunning homage to the work of legendary illustrator Saul Bass and his classic poster art for the film The Man With the Golden Arm, which featured Frank Sinatra and Kim Novak in the leading roles!

Perkins did such a wonderful job with this cover that DC Comics chose to give it a 5 page feature in the 2nd issue of their new promotional magazine, DC Nation, which came out in July 2018. The feature is all about how this cover came into being, from initial concept, to preliminary sketches, to the final product! I don't have a copy of DC Nation but have posted scans of the cover and the interior feature for you all to see and read.
