An exciting cover to an exciting story! As a lover of the classic Superman Blue costume and as someone who has long said that I wished DC would just bring back that costume and put it on anyone in the Superman Family, especially Jon Kent, I admit that it is an absolute thrill to see that DC actually did exactly that right here on this cover! The only thing missing is the head gear, which is the most important part of the costume, so hopefully they eventualloy add that back on to the costume. In addition, it is also quite exciting to see Ultraman on this cover, going mano a mano with Val-Zod! With the Superman Blue idea being an homage to a Silver Age Superman storyline and Ultraman having originally died in the Crisis on Infinite Earths, this cover also offers nice tips of the hat to Silver Age fans everywhere, mixed with the excitement of the modern day versions of those characters!
